USB IF recently unveiled the new USB Type-C 2.1 specification, the most important thing is to increase the maximum voltage from the current 20V to 48V, which also means that under the combination of 48V 5A, the new generation of USB Type-C interface is enough to provide 240W power, Basically, it can meet the power supply needs of almost all e-sports laptops on the market, and it is further advanced to use the USB Type-C interface to become a unified charging interface for consumer electronics products.

Usb-if officially announced the USB4 2.0 specification, which will increase the transmission speed to USB 80Gbps, doubling the maximum bandwidth compared to the current USB4.

At present, the industry standard USB PD charging protocol based on the USB Type-C interface is only open to 100W, although it is suitable for most documents and entry-level game laptops, but it is not enough for e-sports laptops that are often used to more than 150W or 240W.
